Last week we wrapped up another month of series, and now is the perfect time to practice. That’s right, it’s time for another Clinic:

Blues Clinic (7:30-9)
We gather as many instructors as we can for 1.5 hours of personalized instruction. Students dance with instructors and get individual feedback on their dancing. Music plays continuously in the background, and students are encouraged to social dance and give each other feedback while not dancing with instructors. There is also a long beginner lesson running throughout, making the Clinic perfect for introducing newcomers to Blues Dancing.

To keep you feeling the Blues all night we have Devona Cartier and special guest Rachel Jordan from Austin, TX behind the DJ booth.

If you registered for an entire series (beginner or intermediate), the Clinic is included in the price. As always, the Clinic is $5, and the dance an additional $5.

It’s the last week of Solo Blues and Julie Brown has returned to team up with Devona Cartier once again:

Solo Blues (Beginner Series, 7:30-8:30)
Being able to have fun to the music is why we dance, right? We usually dance with a partner, but not this time! Come learn some exciting solo blues moves. It helps with creating your style, building your vocabulary, mastering musicality; all without having to worry about what your partner is doing. Not to mention having a good time!

Beginner Crash Course (8:30-9:00)
This will be a weekly feature designed to introduce novices to Blues dancing. It will provide enough vocabulary to have fun on the dance floor. Plus, when students feel comfortable with this material, they’ll be ready for the Beginner Series classes.

To satisfy your Blues cravings, Julie Brown will be behind the DJ booth with Steve York.

The Beginner Series class is $7 for students and $10 general admission, the Crash Course is $5, and as always, the dance is $5.
