It’s time once again for our annual Halloween party! We’ve got a spooky fun night in store, and it all starts off with:
Blues Clinic (7:30-9:30)
The Clinic is an opportunity to work one-on-one with instructors and to work with your friends and peers. Music plays in the background as people work together, and the instructors move around the room, working with people one-on-one or in couples. When not working with instructors, people work with peers, dance with each other, try new things they’re working on, or try things the instructors have helped them with. You can work on material from that month’s series class, workshops you took recently, or anything you like! From 8:30-9:30, we have our Blues Basics class as usual, while the clinic continues in the rest of the room.
And what better thing for a party than live music? We have the return of They become Dirt, who love Halloween just as much as we do. ‘They become Dirt’ is code for ‘Jesse Armerding and assorted cohorts playing in a musical mud puddle’.
Plus, the costume contest returns! Wear a costume before the band break to be automatically entered for a chance to win some fabulous Blues Union prizes.
As always with live music nights, the lesson is $5, and the dance an additional $10, and we’ll be going till midnight.
