It’s the last Blues Union of the year, and we’re spending it in style!
First up, the classes:
Intermediate+ Clinic (7:30-8:30)
In December, we hold blues clinics instead of the usual Intermediate+ series. All levels of dancer are welcome to show up at 7:30pm and work on whatever you want, with one-on-one feedback from instructors and peers! Have something you want to learn? Show up to clinic and you can learn it! Nervous about asking questions to instructors? There’s a self-guided activity as well.
Blues Union Basic: Triple-step Blues
with Julie Brown and Zach Brass
This weekly drop-in class is designed for new-to-blues dancers or anyone wanting to focus on the fundamentals. No experience or partner required! This month, we’ll learn blues dances that use a triple-step rhythm, and work on chill turns, side passes, and other partnered moves.
Then, we have the fabulous Amy Kucharik and Tiger Moan playing for us until midnight! This time around they will be featuring Jesse Armeding on drums.
As always with live music nights, the lesson is $5, and the dance an additional $10.
