Come out and dance the blues with us every Thursday in the beautiful Dance Union studio in Union Square!
Every month we provide a themed Blues series and a beginner crash course with a different set of teachers. On the last Thursday of the month, we hold a Blues Clinic instead of the lesson. The Blues Clinic is like an opportunity to get a mini private lesson with Blues Union instructors. The instructors will make sure to work individually with everyone at the practice for a portion of the evening.
You can work on anything you want (vocabulary, connection, stuff you learned in the previous month’s classes, etc). Though no partner is required, we suggest you bring someone with whom to practice & try new things, since you will not be working with a teacher the entire time.
The floor is beautiful, the vibe is chill, and we always have baked goods!

Our Mission
Blues Union was created out of a desire to encourage, teach, and improve blues dancers in our community, while providing a weekly blues dance venue in Boston. At Blues Union, we focus on providing quality blues music and lessons to improve and grow the Boston blues dancing scene.
Blues Union also strives to be more than just another lesson and dance venue. We are a community of dancers who are committed to constantly improving ourselves and our students. Through focused group lessons with local and guest instructors, we aim to teach quality lessons focused on improving both beginner and intermediate dancers.
Blues Union is also unique in the Boston blues scene, in providing a monthly Blues Clinic, where dancers can receive more individualized feedback to help them truly improve.
