Union Foundations: December 15

Come celebrate with old friends and new at the Blues Union end of the year party!

We’ll be expressing appreciation for each other and gently reflecting on the past year, all while having a great dance party!

7:30-8pm: Outdoor gather & greeting time nearby (location TBA soon), mulled wine & hot cider
7:55: Brief opening ceremony & toast
8pm-end: Move indoors – Dance party to songs from the community, moving from more blues to more blues-adjacent as the night goes on (songs also broadcast online)

We may go later than usual if the energy supports it!

We’ll be broadcasting the music and the slideshow of whose song is whose here, if you’re not able to join in person: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83023050239…

Since Blues is a whole family of different dances, movements, and patterns… Let’s jam on some of those! In this class, we’ll have fun learning some classic blues movements and patterns to connect with each other, with the roots, and to have fun on the dance floor together.

7:30-9:00pm – class
9:00-10:00pm – social, optionally practice class stuff

Sliding scale $10-25, admission covers the whole night. No one turned away due to lack of funds.
