This week at Blues Union

Virtual Union: November 5

Monthly check-in on personal goals related to anti-racism. 8:00-9:15pm EST

This time, we’ll have some general decompression time at the beginning, to hold space for processing, before we talk about goals.

Everyone is encouraged to join, regardless of whether you joined the previous month(s) or not, whether you met your goal(s) or not… This is a time to check in, help each other clarify goals, get back on track if needed, and be in community around these actions.

If you don’t have an idea for what to set as your goal/actions, we have something you can do.

We’re hosting another virtual band night! The details are:

8-9pm EST: “Community Dinner”- Hop on Zoom while you make dinner / eat, and hang out with each other while we gather before the band goes on. If the group gets too big for conversation, we’ll start some breakout groups.

9-10pm EST: Band night with our house band! Amy K will be joined by Tim Lewandowski, Greg Toro, and Ariel Bernstein, bringing us some great blues tunes. They’ll be broadcasting from Dance Union, so we’ll see a little taste of dance home, from afar. You are welcome to dance or just listen & hang out.
