Union Foundations: July 28

Come discuss a short blues-related reading and then enjoy a casual night to dance & socialize in person!

7:30-8:30pm – Reading discussion (online or in-person)
8:30-10pm – Social dance (in-person)

No official lesson, but if you or a friend is brand new, talk to the door person and we’ll get you covered.

Reading is an excerpt from the book Rooted Jazz Dance: “Africanist elements in American jazz dance” by Julie Kerr-Berry: https://drive.google.com/…/1-KwzjEIpCqsyml9d8P4l…
You’re encouraged to get the full book too, to enjoy on your own!

Pay-what-you-can $5-15 – cash or Venmo at the door, or pre-sale tickets online: https://withfriends.co/…/reading_discussion_and_social…
^WithFriends members, get pre-sale tickets to use your discount.
No one turned away due to lack of funds.

DJ for the night is Clara Lauterwasser!

We’re still rebuilding and re-envisioning, so this is still a Union Foundations event, and not an official reopening.
