Blues dance is a family of Black American social dances (some solo, some partnered) that coevolved with different styles of Blues music throughout history, starting in the late 1800s and extending through today. Blues dance celebrates freedom of expression within community, improvisation, rhythm, and more!

**Evening schedule**
7-8pm: Intermediate blues class: Fun Ballroomin’ Turns with Julie Brown
8-9pm: Community Studio + activities TBD
9-11pm: DJed blues dance party

**Class info**
7-8pm: Fun Ballroomin’ Turns – We’ll learn some fun turn sequences for Ballroomin’ blues dances, and the techniques to lead & follow them comfortably and smoothly

**Pricing**
Sliding scale $10-25, free for volunteers & staff. No one turned away due to lack of funds. Cash or Venmo at the door. Presale tickets coming soon
