We’re back with our monthly Clinic and some live music!

Blues Clinic (7:30-9)
During Blues Clinics we gather as many instructors as we can for personalized instruction. Students dance with instructors and get individual feedback on their dancing. Music plays continuously in the background, and students are encouraged to social dance and give each other feedback while not dancing with instructors.

This month the Danielle Miraglia will be making her Blues Union debut. She comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson, an infectious stomp-box rhythm and harmonica. Her tunes range from heart-felt to socially conscious and will move both your heart and hips. Find out more at http://www.daniellem.com/

And since we have a band, we’ll be going till midnight.

As always with live music nights, the Clinic is $5 and the dance an additional $10.

Closed Thursday, June 21

Due to the Boston Tango Festival, Blues Union will be closed this Thursday, June 21st. We will be back in action next week with our monthly Blues Clinic and live music! Stay tuned for more details…

Come catch more solo Blues with attitude from Jenn Martinez:

Solo Stylin’ (7:30-8:30)
Blues dance is more than what you do…. it’s how you do it. In this series, we’ll explore how physical techniques and soulful expression can bring even simple choreography to life.

Beginner Crash Course (8:30-9:00)
This will be a weekly feature designed to introduce novices to Blues dancing. It will provide enough vocabulary to have fun on the dance floor. Plus, when students feel comfortable with this material, they’ll be ready for the Series classes.

Julie Brown and Kevin Sihlanick will be behind the DJ booth to satisfy your Blues cravings.

As always, the lesson is $5 and the dance is an additional $5.

Intermediate Classes

Starting next month we will be offering intermediate series classes! All of the requirements, along with an FAQ, have been posted on our Upcoming Classes page.
